About Us
For over forty years KARL GSCHWIND MACHINE WORKS INC. has been serving its customers with precision machining of materials used in prototype and high volume production. A review of our facilities list shows the unlimited machining capabilities of our Company.
We have five Matsurra machining centers complementing our high production facilities, the largest being a Matsurra MC-2000.
Additionally in our lathe department, our Mori-Seiki SL-65 supports a capacity of up to 32 inches.
We provide precision machining with continuous repeatability. To achieve this, we are controlled by our Mitutoyo Coordinate Measuring machine, model B421. Each piece that is inspected by this system is recorded on a printout, a copy of which is packed with the finished piece and shipped to you.
We have been surveyed and approved in accordance with the requirements of military specification MIL-Q-9858A and MIL-Q-45208A. All gauges and measuring equipment are calibrated to standards that have traceability to the National Bureau of Standards.
